Sherpa Software Partners With Hosted Archiving Vendors To Migrate End User Legacy Data Into The Cloud

Pittsburgh, PA – June 15, 2010 –Sherpa Software, a leading email management, e-discovery and archiving solution provider, today announced two distinct offerings for customers or partners using cloud-based email archiving services. Through partnerships with hosted archiving vendors, Sherpa provides end-users with a simple and automated way to migrate their legacy data into the cloud.

As part of these new solutions, Sherpa offers a convenient and automated way to locate personal folders and PST files in a distributed computing environment and import the legacy email data into a centralized cloud-based repository. Sherpa also offers a tool to convert email file formats into the required format for ingestion into a hosted email archiving vendor’s cloud-based storage repository. This capability ensures that all email originating in a specific environment can be converted into the cloud system’s required file format so that important data is not lost.
